If you have any questions about the role or application process, send us an email: recruitment@futurefrontiers.org.uk.

To support fair and inclusive hiring, we ask all applicants to complete our diversity and equal opportunities monitoring form. This helps us to identify barriers and improve our processes. Responses are anonymous, not linked to your application, and do not affect hiring decisions. Completion is optional.

Application deadline: Wednesday 22nd April at 5pm

Staff benefits

  • Pay and financial support - fair and transparent pay – as a Real Living Wage employer, we are committed to fair pay and operate a clear, transparent pay structure so colleagues always know where they stand.

  • Pension scheme - we provide a 3% pension contribution alongside a minimum 5% employee contribution, helping colleagues save for the future. Our contributions increase with length of service, up to a maximum of 7%, matched to employee contributions.

  • Discounts and savings - through Tickets for Good and Charity Worker Discounts, colleagues can access a wide range of offers, from concerts and events to everyday shopping.

  • Season ticket loans - we can help spread the cost of commuting through repayable loans.

Learning and Development

Time Off and Leave

  • Generous annual leave - we offer 35 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to a maximum of 37 days (pro rata) after five years – giving colleagues the time they need to rest, recharge and maintain a healthy work–life balance.

  • Compassionate leave - during life’s most difficult moments, we provide paid compassionate leave to support colleagues who need time away from work. We aim to offer flexibility, understanding and space when it matters most.

  • Enhanced family leave - we are committed to supporting colleagues as their families grow. Our maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave packages, as well as emergency dependants’ leave, go beyond statutory requirements, helping colleagues focus on what’s important during significant life changes.

  • Additional family support - we recognise that unexpected situations can arise. That’s why we offer paid emergency dependants’ leave, along with enhanced parental bereavement and neonatal care pay. This ensures colleagues have the time and support they need during particularly challenging or sensitive periods.

  • Career breaks - for those who wish to take extended time away from work, we offer the opportunity to apply for an unpaid career break. Whether for travel, study, family commitments, health, or personal development, this allows colleagues to step away while remaining part of the organisation.

  • Personal training budget - all colleagues have a £300 annual personal training budget to invest in their growth, with the freedom to choose learning and development opportunities that are most relevant to them.

  • Full team development and training - we also organise training sessions for the full staff team or individual departments to meet specific training needs, as well as providing access to e-learning courses across a range of subjects.

Pay and Financial Support

  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) - access to an NHS-approved service providing confidential support through counselling, coaching, and expert advice across a wide range of areas. It offers a safe, supportive space to talk, receive professional guidance, and benefit from 24/7 GP access.

  • Contractual sick pay - we offer enhanced sick pay above the statutory minimum, which increases with length of service. Colleagues can receive between 4 and 12 working weeks of enhanced pay helping to ease financial worries when they're unwell.

  • Hybrid working - we have an office in London, where colleagues are expected to work at least one day per week. Most balance this with up to four days working from home, choosing the environment that best supports their productivity and performance.

  • Wellbeing and Inclusion Group - our Wellbeing and Inclusion Group ensures that staff wellbeing and inclusion are central to decision-making, helping to create a supportive, inclusive culture where all colleagues feel valued, respected, and able to thrive.

  • Mental health first aiders - our mental health first aiders are trained to provide supportive, confidential conversations, offering a safe space to listen without judgement and signpost colleagues to appropriate support and resources where needed.

  • Cycle scheme - save money on renting a bike or purchasing a bike and equipment through our cycle-to-work programme.

Health and Wellbeing

Whether it’s short-term adjustments or more permanent arrangements, we take a collaborative approach to finding solutions that meet both individual needs and organisational priorities.

  • Flexibility around core hours - our core hours are 10am to 4pm, with flexibility around these to help colleagues balance work with their life.

  • Work from abroad - colleagues can apply to work overseas for up to 2 weeks per year.

Senior Data & Insights Manager

"My experience has only been positive, straight from recruitment right up until now. People genuinely care about my development and wellbeing, and this isn't limited to just my line manager. The focus on EDI is great to see, and actions are regularly being taken to improve the collective employee experience. Apart from the policies in place to ensure a healthy work environment (such as options for flexible working, employee assistance programme, etc.), there is a general sense of friendliness and good humour amongst the whole team that always makes one feel comfortable."
