Intro session

Are you ready?

To help you feel really prepared for the programme, your coach will  schedule a 10-15 minute introductory session to test the tech and help you get to know each other a little better before you launch into the programme content.

Session 1

Discover

The Discover stage gives you a chance to reflect on who you are and what you care about in relation to your future careers.
GOALS:
  1. Gain a greater understanding of your  personality, interests, motivations and skills.
  2. Consider what matters to you in a fulfilling career.
  3. Discover sectors that are right for your.
ACTIVITIES:
  1. What do you want to achieve?
  2. What have you already thought about?
  3. What motivates you?
  4. Strengths and skills

Session 2

Explore

The Explore stage is your opportunity to dig deeper in to your top sector so you can make an informed decision when selecting your top career. 
GOALS:
  1. Gain more knowledge about your top job sectors and careers.
  2. Think about what you need to know about each career to make an informed decision.
  3. Reflect on your research and identify what else they would like to find out.

Session 3

Connect & Achieve

The first part of Connect and Achieve is your chance to explore the pathways that are going to lead you towards your top careers. You will also prepare for their Expert conversation.
GOALS:
  1.  Choose the pathway that is right for you.
  2. Research and evaluate different university and/or apprenticeship courses.
  3. Prepare for the Sector Role Model conversation.

Session 4

Connect & Achieve

The final stage of the programme and the second half of Connect and Achieve gives you the chance to hear from an Expert in your desired field. You will also learn how to create a strong application and create a plan of development and next steps to put you on the path to success post-programme.
GOALS:
  1. Reflect on the Sector Role Model's answers.
  2. Create content to strengthen your applications.
  3. Agree clear next steps you can take after the programme.
ACTIVITIES:
  1. Your Sector Role Model Conversation and Reflections
  2. Understanding the application process
  3. Your Development Plan
PREPARE FOR SESSION 4!
  1. ​Schedule your session time with your coach and take a note of when it is.
  2. "Tell me about yourself activity".
  3. Send your Sector Role Model email to your coach 3 days before your scheduled session.

Ending the Programme

Congratulations on finishing the Future Frontiers programme!
Download your Handbook and save it somewhere handy so you can refer back to it over the next few months.
The last step of the programme is completing the exit survey.
 
This is a very important step so please take 5 minutes to fill this out.
