We know that young people from low-income families do not lack aspirations. What they miss out on is the guidance, networks and opportunities of their wealthier peers.

What is Future Frontiers?

Future Frontiers is an award-winning education charity.

We work with schools and businesses across the UK to provide a programme of coaching and access to professional role models to young people aged 14-16.

Our programme exists to ensure young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are equipped with the knowledge, skills and mindsets to achieve their potential at school and when transitioning to destinations in education, employment or training.

Schools

We work with groups of students in Year 10 and Year 11 who are at risk of disengaging with learning and not fulfilling their potential.

The programme has been proven to increase pupils' engagement and motivation, and their progress in core subjects.

Businesses

We provide a fully-managed corporate volunteering programme that gives businesses an opportunity to make a tangible impact in their community.

The programme increases employee engagement, whilst also developing coaching and leadership skills.

"Future Frontiers is something I am excited to support through our partnership over the year ahead. The venture’s aim of raising attainment and increasing career opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by linking aspiration to academic success through one-to-one careers coaching is fresh and exciting.
